Which makes sense if this pouch is always mounted to something and needs to not dump contents when opened. But we do often have this pouch unmounted and when opening it laying flat would be helpful. The two vertical loops on the front side are also helpful, but we would have preferred they be the same as horizontal loops as the back side.
