“Haartz Unveils ProTact: The PFAS-Free Tactical Fabric Revolutionizing Durability and Performance”

Haartz Corporation has introduced ProTact, a line of advanced technical laminates designed for military and law enforcement applications, now featuring PFAS-free durable water repellent (DWR) finishes. Unlike other PFAS-free fabrics that often suffer from visible scuffing and surface damage during handling, ProTact demonstrates minimal surface marring even after rigorous scuff testing. This innovation allows manufacturers to meet environmental regulations without compromising on the durability and quality demanded by tactical gear users.

PFAS-free DWR coatings are scientifically engineered to repel water efficiently while being environmentally friendly.

Rumor: L3 no longer selling Image Intensifier Tubes on the Commercial Market

An NVG vendor posted on Reddit Jan 28th that the Sales Director of L3 “confirmed” they would no longer be selling “tubes” commercially. The implications of this could mean that the existing tubes in the market could skyrocket in price. Image intensifiers in general could become harder to acquire. L3 is considered a top contender in the market for NVG tubes.

Update: Good news. It’s possible that Tubes will continue to be sold to Civilians through Channel Partners based on this post. I would assume that similar partners have agreements with L3 and that this is not exclusive to TNVC. (Buyer Beware).
